M.S. Girls’ College, Rangia is the only institution for the girls for higher education in the entire North Kamrup area, established in August 1984. The College has been torch bearer in the field of higher education for the girls in the vast and extensive area inhabited predominantly by socially and economically backward segments of the population. The institution was initiated by some notable enthusiastic educationists and the public in Rangia Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Rangia. Thereafter, it was shifted to its allotted Govt. land in Pub-Kachari Mahal and Pub-Barigog Mauza, Rangia.
