Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College participated in the Gauhati University Inter-College Youth Festival (Central Zone) organised by Pub-Kamrup College, held from 23rd October 2025 to 25th October 2025. The participating students were guided and accompanied by Dr. Aparajita Sharma, Student Union In-Charge. Students of the college actively participated in various cultural events such as Chorus, Rabindra Sangeet, Jayanta Sangeet, and Folk Dance (Bihu). The details of the participants are as follows: • Rabindra Sangeet: Arpana Mandal • Jayanta Sangeet: Simran Sarma • Chorus: Dipandita Das, Sunami Das, Simran Sarma, Arpana Mandal, Dikhita Kalita and Sikha Mahanta • Folk Dance (Bihu): Sunami Das, Nayana Deka, Sangita Das, Nikumani Kalita, Hiyamoni Talukdar and Sayanika Das It is a matter of pride that Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College secured the 1st Prize in Folk Dance (Bihu) in the said Youth Festival.
