Ceremonial Distribution of Application Forms under Mukhyamantri Nijut Moina Asom (MMNMA)

The Mukhyamantri Nijut Moina Asom (MMNMA) is a flagship programme launched by the Government of Assam with the objective of promoting higher education among students and supporting their educational journey. The major objectives of the scheme are to promote access to higher education, reduce student dropout and child marriage, provide financial assistance to eligible students, and encourage students to continue their studies. With these objectives, a ceremonial distribution of application forms under the scheme was organised on 6 August 2026 at 12:30 PM. The central programme concluded with a speech by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, followed by the National Anthem. Following the conclusion of the central programme, a similar programme was organised at Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College, Rangia. The ceremonial distribution programme was graced by Mr. Rina Saloi, Chairman, Rangia Anchalik Panchayat, as the Chief Guest. Mrs. Trishna Nipun, Circle Officer, Rangia, participated in the ceremony as a representative of the Government. The Hon’ble Principal of the College delivered a brief speech highlighting the significance of the Government’s flagship programme. He encouraged the students to make proper use of the benefits provided under the scheme and urged them to continue their higher studies with dedication and determination. The programme concluded successfully with an emphasis on ensuring that eligible students receive the benefits of the MMNMA scheme. Photographs and snapshots of the programme were also taken and uploaded on the college website for documentation and dissemination.
