The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at M.S. Girls’ College, Rangia on 26th January 2026. As per the instructions of the Government of Assam, the National Flag was unfurled at 7:30 AM. The Principal In-Charge hoisted the National Flag, assisted by the IQAC Coordinator. In accordance with the order of the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Assam, the second phase of the commemoration of 150 years of “Vande Mataram” was observed on the same day. Accordingly, programmes such as mass singing of Vande Mataram, a Debate Competition, and a Quiz Competition were organised in the college. In addition, as a part of the Republic Day celebration, students of the college participated in the Republic Day parade held under the initiative of the Rangia Co-District Administration.
