As part of the observance of Independence Day, the Taluk Legal Services Committee organised a Quiz Competition in collaboration with Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College, Rangia, on 14 August 2026. The competition was inaugurated by Dr. Sanjib Kumar Barman, Principal, Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College, Rangia. A total of six teams participated in the competition. The quiz was conducted by the quizmasters, Mr. Ujjal Baruah and Mr. Jeshant Kalita. The winners of the competition were: 1. 1st Position: Rangia H.S. School 2. 2nd Position: Rangia College 3. 3rd Position: Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College, Rangia The prizes were distributed during the concluding session by the Smt. Alisha Akhtar, AJS Civil Judge (Jr. Division)-Cum-Judicial Magistrate First Class, Rangia and the Principal of Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College, Rangia. The programme was hosted by Dr. Aparajita Sharma, Assistant Professor, Manabendra Sarma Girls’ College, Rangia. The event concluded successfully with an atmosphere of enthusiasm and active participation from all the teams.
